Fresche Frasche. Dem, Bari, 2022. Starting from planning, through drawings and preparatory sketches, to the construction of an arched, stable and durable structure, using plant clippings of various plants recovered from the lamias and gardens surrounding the Bosco di Cancello Rotto.
The artist led a class from IISS Rosa Luxemburg in a plant sculpture workshop. Starting from planning, through drawings and preparatory sketches, to the construction of an arched, stable and durable structure, using plant clippings of various plants recovered from the lamias and gardens surrounding the Bosco di Cancello Rotto.
Since 2022, the project has turned to the recovery and regeneration of the green area on Cancello Rotto, in the Carrassi neighborhood of Bari, through the involvement and active participation of citizens, and in collaboration with various cultural, artistic and social organizations of the area.

FRESCHE FRASCHE workshop
The FRESCHE FRASCHE workshop led by DEM resulted in the realization collective and participatory creation of a land art work at the entrance to the forest, concluding the long path of open meetings, workshops, events, and public art, for the creation of a space of integration, relationship and reconnection with nature, self and others.

The artwork “Fresche Frasche” is part of the “Bosco di Cancello Rotto” project, funded by the POC Metro 2014-2020 under the POC_BA_I.3.1.e “Creative Regenerations” initiative of the Municipality of Bari.
